Orient Marine has concluded the Sales Agency Agreement with Silverstream Technologies concerning marketing and promotion of Silverstream’s Air Lubrication System in the Japanese market.

The Silverstream® System improves fuel efficiency by reducing frictional resistance between the water and the hull of a vessel, and Silverstream already boasts over 130 orders for its system with leading shipowners around the world. Based on the Sales Agency Agreement, Orient Marine will market and promote this product in the Japanese maritime market.

By carrying ship machinery that meets contemporary needs of decarbonization and next-generation fuel, Orient Marine will continue to respond to expectations of its customers, and contribute actively to the reduction of society’s environmental impact.
