LG CNS and Microsoft will strengthen their strategic collaboration to accelerate AI and cloud-based digital transformations (DX) and expand their business cooperation.

To this end, the two companies held a top management meeting (TMM) at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington with the participation of Hyun Shin-kyun, CEO of LG CNS, and Judson Althoff, a senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Microsoft on April 6. This was the second TMM between LG CNS and Microsoft after the one in January.

Based on an integration agreement which it inked with Microsoft in December last year, LG CNS discussed a comprehensive cooperation plan with Microsoft to promote the DX business in various fields such as AI, ERP, security, and smart factories based on Azure cloud computing.

LG CNS and Microsoft also agreed on a new cooperation plan for the Azure OpenAI service business. LG CNS will develop new services with AI technologies such as ChatGPT provided by Microsoft Azure OpenAI.

LG CNS will also team up with Microsoft to expand its business in the field of generative AI, which is based on data analysis and machine learning technologies.

To this end, LG CNS and MS will assemble a team dedicated to developing AI services with AI and cloud experts.
