Piraeus Port Authority hosted the 10th Mediterranean Ports and Shipping 2023 Exhibition and Conference

Piraeus Port Authority hosted the 10th Mediterranean Ports and Shipping 2023 Exhibition and Conference, one of the most significant international maritime transport events for the Mediterranean region that was attended by 253 delegates from 26 countries.
At the opening of the 3-day event that took place in Athens from March 28th to March 30th a technical site visit to the Port of Piraeus was scheduled so that the event attendants could see first-hand the diverse and integrated services of the largest port of the country covering the container business, the ferry, crew and car terminal sectors as well as the ship repair zone.
At the beginning of the conference session, PPA S.A. CEO, Mr. Zhang Anming in addition to welcoming all delegates and wishing them on behalf of the company a pleasant and fruitful congress with productive exchanges and an enjoyable stay in Athens said: “During these challenging times where constant change has proved to be the new normal, it is more important than ever that the maritime industry stakeholders come together to reflect on sustainable models and approaches and exchange on best practices and future developments. A shared component between all drivers and a critical success factor is the collaboration with all stakeholders to exploit valuable synergies and create a Win-Win for all as a means for growth”.
