Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch – Senior Vice President of Government Strategy & Policy, Inmarsat Government – has won the first-ever Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA) President’s Award. The award honors the contributions of the MSUA Board of Directors and leadership to the association and its members.

Lisa Dreher, President, MSUA, said “It was my pleasure to recognize Rebecca for her longtime contribution to MSUA that spans more than a decade. I am grateful for her dedication to the MSUA, its members and its mission.”

Inmarsat was founded in 1979 to deliver global, mobile satellite communications (SATCOM) services that connect users at the moments when it matters most – a commitment that continues to drive its mobility-centric strategy. As part of this unwavering dedication, Inmarsat was one of the founding members of MSUA and has remained an active member of the association over the past 30 years.

Actively serving on the MSUA Board of Directors for the past 15 years, Rebecca is engaged in reaching out to new, innovative companies and connecting them into the association’s network.  She also shares technical knowledge and experience to help companies navigate regulatory processes.
