Aurelio Martínez thanks his 8 years at the head of “the best port in Spain”


Martínez has requested by letter this morning to the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, to culminate his career in the presidency of the Port Authority of Valencia

 Aurelio Martínez, president of the Port Authority of Valencia  has this morning sent a personal letter to the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig in which he thanked him for all the support he has given in the last few years in which he has been at the head of the management of the ports of Valencia, Sagunto and Gandia; and has asked him to finish his professional career before 7 April, the date of his 76th birthday.

In the letter, Aurelio Martínez expresses his gratitude to Ximo Puig for having allowed him to get to know the Port Community and its professionals, with whom he has always felt supported and appreciated; as well as the members of the Port Authority and Puertos del Estado. All of them, he indicated, “are the real port”.

In his letter, Martínez highlights having achieved, thanks to the excellent professionals who make up Valenciaport, great achievements for the best port in Spain, to which much effort has been devoted, as well as other projects which have been left at the gates of approval, which he trusts the person who succeeds him can bring to a successful conclusion.
