Corsica Ferries is getting ready to face the summer season and is migrating its PMS to the Web-based version of Infoship.

Corsica Ferries inaugurates the hot season, the most intense part of the year for the roll-on/roll-off ferry sector, by enhancing its management system  with an upgrade to the web-based version of the Infoship software. Infoship is a  web-based PMS solution provided by Arribatec Marine, an IT company specialised in Technical Management solutions for the maritime industry since 1983.

The project involves system evolution and migration to the latest web-based version of Infoship PMS, which includes the installation of the Savona headquarter office plus 13 ferries of the Corsica Ferries fleet.

The processes encompassed in the system upgrade are aimed at the maintenance (planned, preventative and corrective) of the onboard equipment of the entire fleet, as well as the management of ship certificates and non-conformities in compliance with the ISM code.

The project already foresees a further step, intended to migrate the Procurement and Logistic module, interfaced with the other systems in use in Corsica Ferries.

Infoship, 15 years after its first installation at Corsica Ferries, has confirmed itself as a strategic corporate tool for organising and monitoring several management processes, where the team ashore and the onboard staff can work simultaneously, sharing information and flows of work.
