Last Thursday, a delegation from the Dutch Permanent Representation to the European Union, led by Deputy Permanent Representative Michael Stibbe, visited the Port of Rotterdam.

The delegation consisted of transport, environmental and energy attachés. The delegation visited the new U-Space Airspace Management Centre for drones and passed through the port to visit BP and SIF. In the morning, Allard Castelein spoke with Michael Stibbe about the European plans presented in response to the American Inflation Reduction Act, partly in the context of various energy transition projects.

The day ended with a roundtable in FutureLand, where eight companies and organizations discussed the challenges and opportunities in the field of energy, transport and the environment.
