Sembcorp completes acquisition of Vector Green in India bringing group gross renewables portfolio to 9.5GW
Further to its announcement on November 13, 2022, Sembcorp Industries, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sembcorp Green Infra Limited, has completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in Vector Green Energy Private Limited.
Including Vector Green’s 583MW portfolio, Sembcorp’s gross renewables portfolio installed and under development in India now stands at 3GW. This brings Sembcorp’s total gross renewables portfolio globally to 9.5GW, including acquisitions pending completion.
The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.
