The new passenger terminal at the Port of Valencia has a place in the tourism offer at FITUR

The new public passenger terminal of the Port of Valencia has had its place at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair. Specifically, its image could be seen at the stand of Puertos del Estado which it shares with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, as the Minister Raquel Sánchez and the President of Puertos del Estado, Álvaro Rodríguez Dapena, have verified.
Puertos del Estado is present at FITUR to promote the port facilities and services for cruise tourism and nautical sports. The new passenger terminal at the Port of Valencia will be located between the Muelle de Poniente and Muelle Perfecto Palacio, in the area formerly occupied by the Unión Naval de Valencia shipyard, and will cover approximately 100,000 m2.
The planned investment for this project is around 100 million euros provided by the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) and the shipping company Baleària, the company awarded the contract for the new maritime station. A model infrastructure in terms of environmental and social sustainability, accessibility and new technologies. This facility will become a benchmark for the Port of Valencia’s surroundings, will generate added value to the seafront and will provide a service to the city and its citizens.
