Promotion of Cyprus Shipping in Hamburg

Vassilios Demetriades, former Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister

The Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades, left today for Hamburg where he will make a series of contacts with executives of shipping companies and financial institutions based there.

During the meetings, Mr. Demetriades will present the advantages of Cyprus shipping and Cyprus in general as a shipping center with the aim of creating conditions for attracting new shipping companies to Cyprus and registering ships in the Cypriot registry.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, an information day is planned where the Deputy Minister will present before the Maritime Community of Hamburg the strategic vision for Cyprus Shipping “SEA Change 2030”, while he will also analyse the initiatives that Cyprus is taking at the European and international level for effectively addressing the challenges facing global shipping.
