The Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades to participate in Singapore at a business forum

Vassilios Demetriades, Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister

The Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades, is participating in the first business mission organised by the Cyprus Chamber and commerce and Industry in Singapore, in collaboration with the Business Associations of East and Southeast Asia and China.

The aim of the mission is to promote business relations between Cyprus and the Chinese Community of Singapore. Demetriades, who will lead the Cypriot delegation, is expected to address the Business Forum and highlight, among other things, the advantages of Cyprus as a quality and attractive European business center, focusing on the shipping and wider Blue Economy sectors, presenting the excellent prospects and the great wealth of expertise that Cyprus has for operating shipping companies.

On the sidelines of the Forum, the Deputy Minister will have bilateral contacts with shipping companies where he will have the opportunity to analyse the Strategy and actions of our country in the shipping sector, highlighting the advantages and incentives that Cyprus offers as a quality complex of shipping activities.
