NSSLGlobal expands its global NavComs capabilities with launch of new Netherlands office

NSSLGlobal opens its latest European Hub in the Netherlands to provide NavCom and engineering expertise into the Northern European shipping industry.

NSSLGlobal, one of the premier NavCom and IT solution providers in the maritime industry, continues its European expansion by opening a new facility in the Netherlands.

As the shipping industry continues to show growth following a strong recovery from the pandemic, the demand for service work and parts supply is increasing– with the ship repair and maintenance services market expected to reach a value of $44.3 billion by 2031. The launch of its Netherlands office will enable NSSLGlobal to better service shipping company clients within the Northern European region. This follows a recent restructuring and enlarging of NSSLGlobal’s Global Service Engineering Division highlighting the company’s ongoing focus to better service the needs of its commercial maritime clients.

The new premises house a cutting-edge workshop test facility and a maritime NavCom equipment warehouse that will allow NSSLGlobal service engineers to quickly and easily serve customers in the region.

The new office is conveniently situated approximately 22km east of Groningen, in Scheemda. Just 0.5km from a major east/west motorway trunk road, the new location provides immediate access to the busy Dutch and Belgium sea ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp, as well as being readily accessible from the German seaports of Emden, Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Rostock.

“The opening of a new site is always cause for celebration, and we look forward to expanding NSSLGlobal’s NavCom and VSAT maritime broadband business sectors further in Northern Europe. From this new office, we can deliver a local targeted engineering service to our regional clients, particularly in the Netherlands, which is a key country in the world’s maritime shipping industry,” comments Henrik Christensen, CEO, NSSLGlobal Continental Europe.

NSSLGlobal’s team of highly skilled service engineers are certified by all major global marine Class Classification Societies, certified to work with all of the leading equipment brands and hold decades of experience in installing and project managing ship build packages, full bridge refits, VSAT marine broadband and turnkey solutions such as large PABX installations – for a wide variety of vessel types.
