Topsoe appoints two new members of Senior Leadership Team: Head of Power-to-X division and COO


Topsoe appoints Kim Saaby Hedegaard as new Executive Vice President, Power-to-X. Kim Hedegaard has served as interim Head of Power-to-X since May 2022. Before that, he held the position as Chief Operations Officer .

In the position as COO, Topsoe appoints Andreas Bruun Jørgensen, who until today served as interim COO.

He has already done an outstanding job in shaping the Power-to-X organization, and he holds the right mindset to drive our global leadership position and to unleash the enormous potential in this field,” says Roeland Baan, CEO at Topsoe, and continues:

He has done a tremendous job in leading our Global Supply organization and safeguard, that we are able to deliver on all fronts to our customers even with the current distressed environment in the global markets. The appointments of Kim and Andreas, who have both been working at Topsoe for several years, bear evidence to our succession planning and our very capable inhouse profiles.”

Kim Saaby Hedegaard

Kim Saaby Hedegaard joined Topsoe in 1999 and has since held various leadership positions within engineering, technology, and sales. Since 2017, he has been globally responsible for Catalyst Production and Technology.
He holds a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark.

Andreas Bruun Jørgensen

Andreas Bruun Jørgensen has held various leadership positions at Topsoe since he joined the company in 2010. Before that he worked as a process engineer at FL Smidt.

He holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark.
