Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS) has signed a business agreement with Matrix Service Co. of the United States to develop a large liquid hydrogen storage tank and cargo hold.
About 10 officials from both companies, including KOGAS president Chae Hee-bong and Matrix president John Hewitt, attended a signing ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul on Aug. 5.
In the future, the two companies agreed to closely cooperate in the expansion of liquid hydrogen onshore storage tanks, the development of liquid hydrogen transport ship technology, and the design and construction of liquid hydrogen receiving bases in Korea.
