Fameline acquires maritime satellite communication companies World Link and Telaccount from Schulte Group

Fameline Technologies Group Ltd, a subsidiary of the Fameline Holdings group, acquires the maritime satellite communication businesses of the Schulte group, namely World Link Communications and Telaccount Overseas.
The agreement concerns the acquisition of the following companies (subsidiaries of Mariapps Marine Solutions Cyprus Ltd):
- World-Link Maritime Cyprus Comms Ltd based in Cyprus
- WL Comms DMCC based in UAE
- World-Link Comms Inc based in the United States of America
- Telaccount Overseas Ltd based in Cyprus
Fameline Holdings Group (FHG) is a multifarious conglomerate composed of some 50 companies active across a variety of sectors – chiefly, maritime, industrial, satellite communication services and oil and gas/ renewable energy pursuits, alongside new areas of exploration, including healthcare and ICT – FHG is headquartered on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, itself bountifully situated at the crossroads of three continents.
The FHG portfolio provides for the fulfilment of a plethora of technical services and support pertinent to the maritime and offshore industries, including the Satellite Maritime Communications services company ONeNet, as well as the delivering of all relevant and necessary equipment, serving as an official commercial agent to more than 200 companies dispersed across an excess of 50 countries.
World Link Communications was founded in 1989, headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, and operating from multiple offices around the world, meeting the needs of more than 1,800 vessels worldwide every day by developing value-added services based on their specific requirements.
Telaccount Overseas (CY03) was established in 1988 and is a leading Accounting Authority recognised by 36 major flag states. The company is duly approved by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and licenced by the Cyprus Ministry of Communication with the Identification Code CY03. Telaccount Overseas has also been appointed as a Point of Service Activation by 113 countries, providing a complete network of regulatory and administration services.
