Cyprus Shipping Chamber participated in the first passenger Cyprus – Greece sea voyage of M/V Daleela


Limassol port welcomed back the Cyprus Flag ship, which performs the passenger sea connection route between Cyprus and Greece, on 22 June 2022, thus completing with success its first voyage. The Chamber’s Board of Directors Member, Mr. Sunil Kapoor and the Deputy Director General, Mr. Alexandros Josephides, participated on behalf of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, in its first voyage, noting the smooth operation and the variety of services it offers on board.

The Chamber congratulates once again the Shipping Deputy Ministry on this important accomplishing of reviving the Passenger Sea Connection between Cyprus – Greece after 21 years and all the “unseen heroes” who worked hard for crowning the first voyage with success. It is now important for people to embrace it and take advantage of this alternative and economical travel option to Greece for their coming and future years summer holidays, in order to make this endeavour sustainable once the of the state subsidy ends.
