Gasum and Loiste energy market services enter into partnership agreement


Gasum and Loiste Energia have entered into an extensive partnership agreement on energy management services with effect from the beginning of April 2022. By outsourcing its energy market process and systems to Gasum, Loiste aims to achieve better returns from the electricity markets and can also focus on its core business.

Gasum and Loiste’s partnership extensively covers energy management services such as sales of electricity production, electricity market portfolio management and brokering services, including market analyses and forecasts as well as balance management and 24/7 control room services. Besides these, Gasum is responsible for the continuous planning and optimization of production at Loiste’s CHP plant and hydropower plants. Gasum’s own systems are used in the provision of services and production plants are automatically controlled in accordance with Gasum’s plans.

Gasum plans our production optimally, places it on the market and looks for the best marketplace, whether SPOT, ELBAS, regulating power or reserve markets for our production.
