Søren Eriksen appointed Chair of the Board of Everfuel

The Annual General Meeting 2022 was held on April 27. All the proposed resolutions were approved by the AGM. This includes election of Christina Aabo, Anne Kathrine Steenbjerge, Kjell Christian Bjørnsen and Søren Eriksen to the Board of Directors and the
re-election of Jørn Rosenlund and Martin Skov Hansen as directors.
In a meeting of the Board of Directors following the AGM, Søren Eriksen was appointed Chairperson of the board. Eriksen has in-depth experience as CFO and CEO of large Danish companies (such as TDC and DSB) and from private equity and consulting within renewable energy, technology and energy transition. He replaces Mogens Filtenborg, who stepped down from the board.
“Hydrogen and PtX will play a significant role in the coming green transition and to the energy supply strategy of Denmark and Europe. I’m very pleased to join Everfuel’s exciting journey. It is an impressive company with a unique platform and my main task as chairperson is to oversee the continued growth and scale-up which is well underway,” said Søren Eriksen.
“It has been a great pleasure to support the foundation and growth of Everfuel into a European hydrogen company with ongoing operations and projects in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. Hydrogen’s potential as one of the future core green energy carriers is increasingly recognised worldwide and I am proud of Everfuel being one of the companies at the vanguard of this development,” said Mogens Filtenborg, the previous chairman of Everfuel’s board of directors.
“I would like to extend my gratitude towards Mogens, who have generously shared his knowledge over the past years and helped create the Everfuel we have today. At the same time, I would like to welcome the new members of the board and Søren Eriksen as the new Chair. I look forward to developing Everfuel further in collaboration with the new board and take Everfuel to the next level,” said Jacob Krogsgaard, CEO at Everfuel.
