Under Fluxys Belgium’s tariff proposal for 2020-2023, as approved by CREG on 7 May 2019, transmission tariffs will be corrected in the event that the development of the regulatory account deviates from its planned trajectory.

In accordance with the agreement with CREG in connection with the tariff methodology for 2024-2027, Fluxys Belgium and CREG have decided to reduce the tariffs for transmission services by 10%, effective 1 July 2022.

This corresponds to a total of €45 million to be returned over 2022 and 2023.

The announced tariff reduction is the result of the development of the regulatory account and is in line with Fluxys Belgium’s and CREG’s desire to support consumers within a context of high natural gas prices. This tariff reduction has no impact on Fluxys Belgium’s results.
