Ayia Napa Marina Event Center inaugurated with Entrepreneurhip Presentation by the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation

The first business event in Cyprus’ one-of-a-kind Ayia Napa Marina Event Center was held with great success. The presentation, sponsored by Eurobank, and named ‘Government Measures to Support Entrepreneurship and Financing Opportunities’ organised by the Famagusta District Committee of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation , took place in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, officials of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, representatives of local authorities and directors of government services.
On the occasion of the first official event, Ayia Napa Marina CEO, Stavros Caramondanis, noted: “We are particularly honoured and delighted that the Ayia Napa Marina Event Center was chosen to host such an important conference, under the auspices of OEB. By hosting business, cultural and social events of educational interest, we contribute to promoting important issues within Cypriot society, aimed at the general development and progress of both the Famagusta district and of Cyprus as a whole.”
In a speech given by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yiannis Karousos, he emphasised: “Despite the economic consequences of the pandemic, the projects undertaken by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works are progressing smoothly. Today, via this presentation organised by OEB, we have been given the opportunity to outline the ‘Government Measures to Support Entrepreneurship and Financing Opportunities’ to the Famagusta District, as well as the measures taken by the Ministry both for tourism purposes and for the improvement of our daily lives, such as road works and electromobility.”
Following the presentation, a ceremony was held in the modern spaces of the Event Center . Guests and participants expressed their satisfaction with the impeccable organisation and service, while they were given the chance to admire the unobstructed views and clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. The state-of-the-art Event Center is suitable for the organisation of even the most demanding international and local events, featuring high tech equipment, and multifunctional comfortable spaces, always complemented with the experience of specially trained staff who oversee every event detail.
