Evac publishes its first-ever Sustainability report

Evac, the world’s leading provider of integrated water and waste management technologies, has published its annual Sustainability report. The report outlines to company’s new strategic direction and ambition to become the beacon of sustainability within its industry.

“The year 2021 was an important watershed in Evac’s history. We completed our operational improvement program and started to witness the post-Covid recovery across our business portfolio. Moreover, we launched a new purpose, vision, and strategy for Evac – all intimately revolving around sustainability leadership. Our sustainability program and the report we are publishing today give us an excellent framework that guides us in further developing our operations,” says Tapio Kolunsarka, President and CEO of Evac Group.

In the report, Evac introduces its sustainable solutions that have a significant impact on advancing the circular economy and safeguarding life below water. Both themes are carefully considered in innovating new, sustainable products and developing the current portfolio. Furthermore, the report describes the company’s responsible business practices focusing on people and safety, climate and energy, ethics and compliance, and responsible sourcing. Evac’s sustainability program is aligned with the five UN Sustainable Development Goals in which the company can have the most significant impact.

Evac’s ambition for sustainable development is crystallized in its recently launched brand promise: ‘nothing to waste’. “By combining our ingenuity, decades of experience, and technological know-how, we can innovate solutions that increase our customers’ competitive edge and enable a future with no waste,” Kolunsarka concludes.
