XOCEAN invest further in NORBIT WINGHEAD Multibeam Technology

NORBIT Subsea is proud to announce the supply of multiple WINGHEAD multibeam survey systems to XOCEAN. This new contract award announced at OI’22, ensures the XOCEAN fleet can deliver ultra high resolution shallow seabed mapping deliverables capable of using the latest NORBIT active motion steered WINGHEAD technology.
With truly fully integrated and tightly coupled multibeam survey systems, the NORBIT WINGHEAD mounted on XOCEANs fleet of uncrewed surface vessel platforms, increases XOCEAN survey operations to be undertaken in a continued safe, economic and carbon neutral solution.
Peter Eriksen from NORBIT commented:
“We are really excited to increase our partnership with XOCEAN. Having worked together over a number of years, the team at NORBIT have strived to assist in the technical delivery of leading mapping data from XOCEAN platforms, and we are delighted with the WINGHEAD i80S system market launch at OI’22, that together with XOCEAN we can celebrate our technical innovations together.”
James Ives from XOCEAN noted:
“NORBIT have continued to contribute greatly to our operational successes, and we look forward to the delivery of the new WINGHEAD systems in our expanding fleet of platforms to support our global client base.”
