Ancoria Insurance Public continues for the fourth consecutive year its support to the Cyprus Shipping Industry by granting another three full scholarships. The successful recipients for 2022 are Charalampous Eleftherios, Christou Andia and Fotiou Georgia, who have been granted full scholarships for the seven subjects required to undergo the Professional Qualifying Examinations for Membership to the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers .
According to Mr. Christis Michaelides, General Manager of Ancoria Insurance in Limassol: “We dedicate this year’s scholarship awards to our dear friend Ben Casey, who has sadly passed away in December 2021. Ben was the Training Officer of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber for the last 28 years and an invaluable member of the Ancoria ICS Scholarships Selection Committee. His knowledge and commitment were instrumental in successfully setting up the Ancoria ICS Scholarships program and he will be greatly missed. To honour him, and as a token of our appreciation for all his work and contribution, we have decided to dedicate this year’s scholarships to his memory.”
