Mr. Valery Yemets has been appointed as General Manager at Fenix LLC. The decision on this was made by the Federal Agency for State Property Management , which acts on behalf of the Russian Federation, the sole stockholder of Fenix LLC.

Mr. Valery Yemets graduated from Nikolaev Shipbulding Institite and Foreign Trade Academy. He worked at the Ministry of Maritime and River Transport of the USSR, many years held positions related to the organization of cargo transportation and has considerable experience in the field of transport and logistics.

Organizational changes are focused at strengthening the company’s position in the transport industry of the Russian Federation, aligning it with plans for the development of sea, rail and road transport in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, implementing practical interaction within the industry, and accelerating socially significant benefits for the region.

Further development of the port and transport infrastructure, as well as handling equipment of the only state-owned terminal in St. Petersburg is especially important during uncertainties in economic and political environment for supporting of international trade, increasing Russian export products. This provides a strong opportunity for port clients and partners for long-term planning of production and delivery, as well as effective cooperation in shifting to sustainable transport.

The experience in concept definition, project designing, construction works and commercial launch of MSCC “Bronka” is unique and might be applicable in Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030.
