The course aims to address some of the issues faced by thousands of seafarers who at some point in their careers decide to look for work ashore.

The Ship-to-Shore Transition Course is developed with consideration to feedback from maritime stakeholders and aims to promote opportunities ashore with relevant professional development, information for shoreside awarness and networking through discussion forums.

Constantinos Lambrou, Managing Director, marinEd GmbH said, “the knowledge obtained through the course provides portable competencies that will help seafarers to secure and retain decent work ashore and improve individual employment prospects for them in the shoreside maritime industry.
