Northern Marine Management has been awarded the management of a newbuild dual fuel very large gas carrier (VLGC) vessel


Northern Marine Management has been awarded the management of a newbuild dual fuel very large gas carrier  vessel, further demonstrating the Company’s ability to serve innovative ship owners at the forefront of maritime engineering.

The 91,000cbm Avance Polaris is Avance Gas’ first dual fuel vessel and has the capability to utilise LPG as fuel, allowing for higher efficiency and greatly reduced CO2 and SO2 emissions compared to conventional fuel.

The vessel will receive full Technical and Crew Management support from NMM.

Avance Gas announced that the Avance Polaris will operate on a Time Charter Agreement for a period of 2 years to energy major TotalEnergies
