Valenciaport presents the “Socarrat” to the BMI Eagle on its first call at the Port of Valencia


The Port Authority of Valencia  has handed over the “Socarrat”, the traditional Valencian terracotta tile designed with maritime motifs, to the ship BMI Eagle of the shipowner Admiral Container Lines which, through its shipping agent One Ocean Shipping Agency, has inaugurated its service between Turkey and Spain.

The head of Commercial and Clients of the PAV, Cristina Rodríguez, has handed over the socarrat to the captain of the BMI Eagle, Dincer Emen, who has carried out his operations at APM Terminals. The service connects the ports of Ambarli, Gebze, Gemlik, Izmir, Piraeus, Sousse Bizerte, Valencia and Algiers with a ten-year service.
