Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded a major 3D seismic exploration project in South Africa
Shearwater GeoServices announces the award of a 3D seismic survey contract for acquisition in South Africa.
The survey will acquire over 6,000 sqkm of 3D seismic data and be acquired by the Amazon Warrior. The project is planned to last approximately four-months.
The Amazon class vessels are seismic acquisition vessels designed from the ground up with the customer in mind. The vessels provide a stable platform for seismic acquisition in challenging seas and are ideally suited to conditions offshore South Africa.
