On October 8, China COSCO SHIPPING and Sinochem signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. Chairman of Sinochem Holdings Mr. Ning Gaoning, Director of the Board and President of Sinochem Holdings Mr. Li Fanrong, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Capt. Xu Lirong, and Director of the Board and President of COSCO SHIPPING Mr. Fu Gangfeng attended the ceremony and witnessed the signing of documents. Vice President of Sinochem Holdings Mr. Yang Shihao and Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Mr. Huang Xiaowen signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.

According to the agreement, both parties will, based on the principles of “mutual benefit, strategic alliance and complementary advantages”, make full use of their advantageous resources to carry out in-depth cooperation in industrial chain operation, shipping, digital transformation, comprehensive real estate services, centralized procurement and information exchange, establish long-term strategic partnership and provide more quality and convenient products and services to the society. They will continuously improve their technological innovation capability, core competitiveness and sustainable development capability to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation and common development.

Prior to the signing ceremony, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of ideas on matters concerning the deepening of mutual cooperation.
