LGM Engineering awarded FGSS order for Himalaya twelve DF bulk carriers


Gloryholder Liquefied Gas Machinery Co., Ltd has signed a contract to design and supply LNG fuel gas supply system for twelve 210,000DWT dual fuel bulk carries with New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (NTS) in June 2021. The deliveries of the LNG fuel gas supply systems will start in September 2022. The shipowner is Himalaya shipping and the classification is ABS. The LNG fuel gas system is equipped with LGM Engineering’s patented self-balancing re-liquefaction system which, through efficient handling of the boiloff gas, significantly extend the storage tank holding time during navigation. The main engine is a MAN ME GI with 300barG gas supply pressure

The complete LNG fuel gas supply system delivered by LGM Engineering includes; the bunkering station, tank monitoring system, high pressure pump skid, high pressure fuel gas supply skid, water glycol skid, ESD system, LNG system main control and safety system control cabinet, as well as installation guidance, commission and crew training.

By The end of September 2021, LGM Engineering has obtained more than 80 LNG FGSS orders in marine field, which not only effectively consolidate the market share but also make contributions to achieve emission reduction.
