The Cyprus Shipping Chamber welcomes the celebrations of the “World Maritime Day” which has been established by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and celebrated globally every year at the end of September. The purpose of this day is to underline the significant role of Shipping, which has been further highlighted during the ongoing pandemic, since it continued moving 90% of world trade.
