The top rating by EcoVadis comes just a few weeks after Sustainalytics ranked Odfjell as number one among industry peers in their ESG risk assessment. While EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings with more than 75,000 rated companies, Sustainalytics provides analytical ESG research, ratings and data of more than 20,000 companies.

The analyses are based on publicly available information and on comprehensive questionnaires and formatted reporting. Among the documentation is Odfjell’s annual report, which includes a sustainability and materiality assessment. The end assessments are made available to banks, customers and other stakeholders.
