It was a night to be celebrated! On Sunday 5th September, the 16th edition of the annual BOAT International World Superyacht Awards took place in Monaco with 4 yachts from the Amels and Damen Yachting fleet up for a coveted Neptune trophy: STARDUST, LIND, GALENE and LA DATCHA.
Star of the night for our line up was the 77-metre SeaXplorer LA DATCHA. Nominated in the category Displacement Motor Yachts 1,600 GT to 2,999 GT Yachts, she triumphed following a unanimous decision by the Judges to recognise this ‘outstanding yacht that completely meets a unique vision of yachting.’ We would like to congratulate the Owners and entire LA DATCHA team for winning the Judges’ Special Award and taking home their prestigious Neptune for a yacht that truly brings a whole new approach to the explorer market.
Whilst STARDUST, LIND and GALENE may have just fallen short of the winning trophy in their respective categories, we would also like to extend our congratulations to their Owners and teams for their well-deserved nominations. We are incredibly proud to have had all them recognised for their ingenuity and craftsmanship amongst some of the most remarkable luxury yachts. Congratulations to them all and of course, to all nominees and winners.We would like to thank all of our team, co-makers and Owners’ teams’ without whom, such success and achievement would not be possible.
