Aquametro Oil & Marine RMS – successful Integration with Opsealog

Being the major approved Electronic Fuel Monitoring System (EFMS) provider for Brunei
Shell Petroleum (BSP), Aquametro Oil & Marine (AOM) is committed to support all their fuel and efficiency monitoring initiatives and requirements for Shell’s decarbonization program.

In early July, AOM’s Remote Monitoring System technical team was called for a meeting with BSP’s assigned software vendor that specializes in performance management, Opsealog. As AOM’s RMS has currently been installed onboard over 12 vessels (with more systems scheduled to be added) in the BSP chartered fleet, we are tasked to engage with Opsealog to feed the collected fuel consumption and other monitoring signals into their performance management system.

With the dedicated support from Opsealog’s technical engineers and AOM’s committed engineering efforts, this data integration was implemented and fully tested within a month of technical cooperation.

This successful integration will bring Aquametro Oil & Marine’s RMS into a large competence on the global map as Opsealog has many oversea customers. These joint efforts truly displayed AOM’s continuous commitment to assist our customers in fulfilling their fleet performance monitoring requirements and initiatives projects.
