New voyages with AIDAmar to Norway and the Baltic Sea from Hamburg


AIDA Cruises opens the cruise season with AIDAmar in Hamburg. The metropolis on the Elbe is the port of departure and destination for seven-day trips to Norway and the North and Baltic Seas.

AIDAmar’s first voyages take various routes along the North Sea coast of Denmark to Gothenburg in Sweden and from there to the Baltic Sea to the island of Gotland or to Gdynia in Poland. In all ports, AIDAmar guests have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people on excursions organized by AIDA.

Starting from August 28, 2021, AIDAmar will set course for Norway. Breathtaking fjord landscapes, such as the Geirangerfjord, the cozy coastal towns of Stavanger and Alesund, and Bergen with its historic harbor district Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are on the itinerary. In addition to the excursions organized by AIDA, guests of AIDAmar will have the opportunity of individual shore excursions.

Due to Norway’s current entry regulations, these cruises are only offered to adults who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. For children and teenagers from four to 18 years a test is mandatory, babies and toddlers up to four years are exempt from this.
