A successful charity fishing competition at the Limassol Marina


A charity tuna fishing competition took place at Limassol Marina on Sunday, 18 July 2021, in memory of Chrysanthos Chrysanthou, Nakis Christodoulou, Haris Soleas and Antonis Diamantides. The competition began at the Marina at 5:00 am with all participants returning by 9:30 am. An exciting time was had by all making for a very successful event!

Organised by the Cyprus Yachting Magazine, a total of €2,000 was raised during the competition. All funds were donated to The Cyprus Anticancer Society by the General Manager of Dacor Advertising and Media, Mr Aristos Aristidou. 35 crews participated in the fishing competition, catching 22 fish along the Limassol coastline. A range of activities took place afterwards and special awards and prizes were presented to the winners.
