The ‘Ocean Victory‘ is vessel number 3 in SunStone’s INFINITY series, while the ‘Ocean Explorer‘ is vessel number 4. When signing up for the first vessels in the SunStone INFINITY series, SunStone’s President/CEO Niels-Erik Lund, commented that “We decided to partner up with Ulstein due to their hull and the technical design, as well as their site team in China to supervise the production”.

This cooperation is bearing fruit, the ‘Ocean Victory’ and ‘Ocean Explorer’ are both in their end phase of construction and are planned for delivery in April.

Ships in the Infinity class have Ulstein’s patented X-BOW design, zero-speed stabilizers and dynamic positioning, and are built to Polar Code B, with Polar Class 6 (Ice Class 1A on machinery).

The SunStone vessels are customised versions of the ULSTEIN CX103 designs. All vessels in the series are chartered out to tour operators. The ‘Ocean Victory‘ has been chartered out to Albatros Expeditions in the winter season and to Victory Cruise Lines, for the summer season. The ‘Ocean Explorer‘ will be operated by Vantage Cruise Line.
