Bawat is pleased to announce the signed contract with the Korean shipping company Panocean in regards to installing the Bawat onboard BWMS in two of their heavy lift vessels Sunrise and Sunshine
CEO at Bawat Marcus Hummer says, “Especially for Heavy Lift vessels ballast water operations are different compared to other commercial ships. A Heavy Lift vessel typically operates vast amounts of ballast water fast during cargo operation because of the need for submerging and stability of the vessel. Thus, this ship type has large ballast pumps as well. With the Bawat BWMS one-pass technology the BWMS is not sized according to the ballast pump size but the ballast water treatment requirements which are often a fraction of the pump capacity.
