Aquametro Oil & Marine RMS supports Zhoushan port to reduce carbon emissions

Aquametro Oil & Marine China has successfully commissioned the fuel monitoring system RMS of AOM on board of about 13 tugboats until end of 2020. AOMC is delighted to receive order for further 4 tugs from Ningbo Zhoushan port with delivery and commissioning in July 2021.
The global greenhouse effect is growing seriously. On purpose of implementing MRV EU regulations and MARPOL conventions, the carbon neutrality of China shall be realized by 2060. This means that China’s carbon emissions have to be reduced from 16 billion tons a year to zero between 2020 and 2060. In order to achieve this challenging target energy conservation and emission reductions are important for government vessels in China.
China’s government has issued a strict environmental protection convention that requires all state- owned vessels, such as tugs, to save energy and reduce emissions.
Ningbo Zhoushan Port awarded Aquametro Oil & Marine China with a contract to install our fuel monitoring system RMS and Flowmeters for all their eight new buildings in May and November 2020. The RMS/FM allows Zhoushan port to monitor and optimize the fuel oil consumption and efficiency of their tugs while contributing to energy saving and emission reduction.
AOM China has just finished the boarding commissioning of four tugs for Zhoushan port in December 2020. There are four more vessels scheduled to be commissioned in July 2021.
