Building on MCTC’s central theme of the importance of health and nutrition among our seafarers, this conference aims to break down myths and educate the maritime industry and seafaring community on food, nutrition and how our lifestyle choices impact us physically and emotionally. It will expose the psychological impact when one gains weight and also question how poor nutrition leads to mental health issues alongside the potential threat of developing chronic disease.

We hope you will join our free event to hear from our panel of experts from psychologists through to dietitian nutritionists, culinary training consultants and chefs, who will delve into interesting issues such as how sugar impacts so seriously on the body by potentially being be as addictive as cocaine and more. Our experts will expose the issues within the food industry and leave
