Qatargas’ L&D Department earns Global Accreditation for People Management

Qatargas Learning and Development (“L&D”) Department has earned “We Invest in People” gold accreditation from Investors in People (“IIP”), an international standard for people management.
The accreditation was conferred to the L&D Department in October 2020 by the UK-based IIP, which provides the accreditation based on the latest workplace trends, leading practices and employee conditions required to create high performing teams.
Commenting on the accreditation, Adnan Hassan Al Shaibi, L&D Manager, Qatargas, said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious accreditation as only 17 per cent of the IIP-accredited organisations worldwide reach the Gold level. The Gold accreditation means that L&D department has got well-established policies, procedures and systems in place to support our people and everyone in the department takes ownership for making them come to life. This is a significant achievement for any organisation that values their people.”
This achievement provides an insight into how well Qatargas is currently leading, supporting and developing the high calibre and diverse workforce to achieve the best business results. In addition, it helps measure the impact of our people strategy and how it benefits our people.
