MOL Group’s Indian Crew Manning company holds 25th anniversary ceremony online

MOL announced that on December 1, the MOL Group’s crew manning company in India, MOL Maritime India, Pvt. Ltd.*1 (MOLMI; Managing Director: Jitender Singh Kanwar) held an online ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of its founding.
MOLMI could not hold an in-person ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but performances by seafarers, office staff, and their families and a video summarizing the company’s 25-year history were screened online, offering a look back at the milestones of MOLMI and its partners. Ship management companies, business partners, and maritime-related universities all over the world sent their messages of thanks for MOLMI’s contributions over the years.
MOL President & CEO expressed his appreciation to MOLMI crewmembers and shoreside employees for their contributions to safe operation over 25 years in his video message. He also called on MOL and MOLMI to work together as one team to get through COVID-19, under the slogan “One MOL.” Currently MOLMI posts about 700 crewmembers on some 60 MOL-operated vessels. Ikeda said he looks forward to MOLMI continuing to supply highly skilled seafarers and shore personnel.
The MOL Group continually focuses on recruiting and supplying top-quality seafarers and other personnel as it strives to ensure safe vessel operation.
