Voyager Worldwide and S5 Agency World announce new partnership to make important COVID 19 testing information available to shipping companies

Voyager Worldwide, the leading maritime technology company, and S5 Agency World, a leading provider of port agency services globally, today announced that they have teamed up to help make management of crew changes during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic easier and more efficient by providing details of COVID test facilities via Voyager Worldwide’s FLEET INSIGHT service.
Beginning today, marine managers, superintendents and other shipping company personnel will be able to use Voyager Worldwide’s FLEET INSIGHT web service to access details of COVID testing facilities in countries and port worldwide including information relating to booking requirements, service availability and costs.
Details of COVID-19 test facilities have been collected by S5 Agency World’s extensive port agency network worldwide. Voyager Worldwide has integrated this data into its Voyager FLEET INSIGHT platform so that it can be displayed geographically on a GIS map (or on CMAP or AVCS ENCs for premium services) and in tabular format alongside vessel information such as position, destination port and ETA.
“The COVID-19 virus is creating a unique set of operational challenges for our customers,” said Hayley van Leeuwen, Director of Product and Marketing for the Voyager Worldwide Group. “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with S5 Agency World which extends the information we are able to offer our customers to include COVID testing information in ports worldwide.”
Jason Berman, Senior Vice President for S5 Agency World said “We are very pleased to be working with Voyager Worldwide on this exciting initiative. By combining S5 Agency World’s global port network knowledge with Voyager Worldwide’s expertise in the provision of ship management information, we are making important information more accessible to shipping companies worldwide and helping to address the very specific customer challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The new COVID testing information module is free of charge to all users of Voyager Worldwide’s FLEET INSIGHT platform. Marine managers, superintendents and other shipping personnel that would like free access should contact customerservices@voyagerww.com by email or visit www.voyagerww.com/ship-management to request a Voyager FLEET INSIGHT trial.
