Msc awarded ‘Best Shipping Line – Asia – Africa’ for second consecutive year at asian freight, logistics and supply chain awards

MSC is delighted to have once again won the “Best Shipping Line – Asia-Africa” at the 2020 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS). MSC has won this award for the second year running, which attests to our strong performance on this trade.
MSC is the only carrier operating on a standalone basis for this trade. MSC currently transports cargo between the two continents through three direct Asia-Africa services: Petra, Ingwe and Africa Express.
The market is an exciting and dynamic one. MSC is currently deploying the biggest vessels in the trade in West Africa because of the bigger and efficient terminals, and we also have a strong feeder network in this part of the country. In South Africa, we have a strong inland set-up and East Africa is showing good growth.
The awards were presented on 9 November 2020 in Hong Kong. AFLAS is hosted and held yearly by Asia Cargo News, a shipping and supply chain industry news platform for the Asian Pacific region. The nominations and final results are based on votes by shippers, customers, industry stakeholders, as well as readers and e-news subscribers of Asia Cargo News. The awards recognise winning organisations for demonstrating leadership and consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability.
