Milano Teleport grows by 30% on the offshore market in the Middle East

Milano Teleport, a company specialized in the provision of communication services and satellite Internet, continues its growth in the Middle East offshore market also thanks to the collaborations concluded with some important local partners.

“After consolidation in Europe, we decided to push the accelerator in the Middle East and Central Africa, where we are present under our brand iSeaglobal – said commercial director Nicola Mossino. In line with the growth of the offshore market in that area, our turnover has also recently grown by 30% and our services are now used on a significant number of ships. For us this growth is a source of great satisfaction because it demonstrates the quality of our services and the validity of our commercial offer”.

“What makes us successful – continues Nicola Mossino – is certainly the extreme flexibility of our proposal. In fact, we are able not only to offer short-term contracts, in line with the timing of our customers’ contracts, but also large band cuts”.

Milano Teleport also believes that today communications must take place through different systems. And precisely with this in mind and to complete its offer, for years now, alongside the VSAT system, it offers 4G, Fleet Broadband, Iridium, Wi-Fi Distribution and many others, all integrated and managed by a proprietary system developed internally by the technical department of the company.

“The latest born in Milan Teleport – explained technical director Luca Massaro – is a Hybrid Solution able to meet very particular bandwidth needs. The Hybrid Solution, in fact, thanks to an innovative automatic roaming technology, combines in a single solution the best of the two VSAT platforms iDirect and Newtec. iDirect is the best solution when the customer needs a small or medium-sized bandwidth package, but with extensive multi-satellite coverage. While, Newtec is the best solution in case of needing extremely high bandwidth profiles (100Mbit) for short periods or in a specific area and at very low cost.”
