Falcon Maritime Group A/S joins Dania Ship Management in new partnership agreement with Dania Ship Management Bulk A/S, Copenhagen

Dania Ship Management has today announced plans to extend its ship management capabilities in a partnership agreement with Falcon Maritime Group A/S, that in turn owns Falcon Rederi A/S.

The new relationship strengthens the commitment by V.Group, Clipper Group and Falcon Maritime Group A/S to create a compelling platform for Copenhagen based ship management solutions.

With access to V.Group’s global marine services offering and Dania’s ship management platform, the partnership will support Falcon Maritime Group in delivering safe, high quality and efficient fleet management.  Under the agreement, Falcon Rederi will transfer two of its handy sized bulk carriers to Dania Ship Management Bulk A/S under its management office in Copenhagen,  thereby concentrating the management of the full Falcon fleet in Copenhagen.

Mikkjal Poulsen, Managing Director, Dania Ship Management Bulk A/S said: “This new relationship with Falcon Maritime Group A/S  will strengthen our capabilities in dry cargo management, as we continue our growth journey.  This will help us to continue delivering flawless service whilst ensuring we navigate these challenging times with strong well-established partners”.

Bo Knold Kristensen, Managing Director, Falcon Maritime Group A/S added: “This new agreement with Dania Ship Management Bulk A/S provides Falcon Maritime Group A/S with the perfect management for its fleet and a solid platform for future growth – allowing us to bring the technical management of our vessels closer to our commercial activities here in Copenhagen.  We anticipate this partnership will benefit our clients as well as the organisation and employees – both on shore and at sea.  With both companies having a strong commitment to safety, efficiency and quality, I am confident of a successful synergy.”

Amrit Peter Kalsi, Chief Executive Officer, Clipper Group commented: “Working with global partners brings benefits such as giving you access to a much bigger network of people, data, and influence. With the newly formed partnership, we look forward to further harnessing the depth and scale of services and expertise to maximise the efficiency of our operations.”
