On September 3, the 10th Western China International Logistics Industry Expo opened at Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center. COSCO SHIPPING Lines and COSCO SHIPPING Logistics participated in the event, as subsidiaries of COSCO SHIPPING—the world’s largest shipping company.

Since its reorganization, COSCO SHIPPING has made significant progress in globalization, digitalization and end-to-end total logistics brand building, with a vision of becoming a world-class international integrated logistics service provider. In particular, it has been involved in the construction of logistics network in western China. Relying on its international container liner routes around the world, COSCO SHIPPING has built sea-rail and land-sea multimodal transport systems, and actively cooperated with ports, railways and highways to develop cross-border trains from China to Europe, Central Asia, Mongolia and Russia. It has therefore become an important force in promoting the development of domestic and foreign trade in western China.

The 2020 Western China International Logistics Development Forum was also convened during the Expo. The relevant executives of COSCO SHIPPING Lines attended the forum and its opening ceremony.
