Assisting businesses interested in the project proposal submission: the first call for proposals is open until 29 October 2020

The European Commission has recently launched the Innovation Fund, one of the world’s largest (€ 10 billion to invest up to 2030) funding programmes for demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies.

This instrument is very interesting as it allows to finance up to 60% of innovation related expenses (CAPEX and OPEX). The programme focuses on the following sectors:

• innovative low-carbon technologies and processes in energy intensive industries, including products substituting carbon intensive ones;
• carbon capture and utilisation (CCU);
• construction and operation of carbon capture and storage;
• innovative renewable energy generation;
• energy storage.

RINA, which has always been committed to combine innovation and customer needs, is able to support companies interested in preparing the proposals for projects. The technical assistance includes the support in the submission of the expression of Interest and the full application to be submitted at the calls for proposals in the lifetime of the Innovation Fund.

The first call for proposals for large-scale projects is open until 29th October 2020.
