The shipment carrying Oil Skimmer equipment had arrived on a regular weekly feeder service operated by Oman Shipping lines. This is a significant milestone for the port as it welcomes the world’s fourth largest container carrier. With COSCO’s arrival, Port of Duqm is served by the Top 4 shipping lines that includes MSC,CMACGM and Hapag Lloyd apart from other carriers.

COSCO is an active main line operator in Middle east and West Asia serving many of the key ports as part of the The Ocean Alliance consortium, that includes CMACGM/APL, Evergreen, OOCL and COSCO.
