40th WISTA International AGM & Conference in Hamburg postponed to 12-15 October 2021

WISTA International regrets to announce that the 40th WISTA International AGM & Conference, which was scheduled for 15-18 September in Hamburg, Germany will be rescheduled to be our 41st WISTA International AGM & Conference 12-15 October 2021 in Hamburg.
The Annual General Meeting of WISTA International for the year 2020 will take place online on 05 November 2020. We will send relevant details to all National WISTA Associations in due time.
This difficult decision was taken in collaboration with WISTA Germany. The health and safety of our members, speakers, sponsors and attendees is our primary concern, and we recognise the uncertainty and worry regarding the pandemic and the unease of travelling in times like these.
WISTA International, WISTA Germany, and WISTA Brazil decided to hold the WISTA International AGM & Conference 2021, originally scheduled to be hosted by WISTA Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, in Hamburg, Germany, and hold the WISTA International AGM & Conference 2022 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
On behalf of the ExCo, I would like to thank Claudia Ohlmeier and Flavia Maia for their cooperation and goodwill in finding a workable and agreeable solution. We want our members and attendees to be able to get the most out of our conferences and gatherings, and we realise that this would not be possible this year. Our wish is that soon we will overcome this challenging situation and will meet together in Hamburg in 2021.
